Who can buy property overseas?

Can I buy an overseas home while holding a security clearance? 

Yes, but there can be restrictions based on location. Please contact your FSO for country- specific information.  See the foreign clearance guide (FCG) for supporting documentation. https://www.fcg.pentagon.mil/fcg.cfm 

How much does it cost to buy a house?

There are a variety of price points when looking to purchase a home. The prices can vary from location, to size, needs renovation to move-in ready. No matter your budget we can find a property for you. 

Can I RENT overseas before I purchase?

Yes! You can absolutely find a home or apartment to rent and check out the area prior to purchasing. The Aspro team can assist you in finding a rental , signing a lease and navigating the required documents and residency requirements. 

Do I have to be a European citizen to buy in Europe?

No. You do not need to be a citizen to purchase a home in Europe. 

What cost will I incur?

As with any home purchase there are several costs to include but not limited to: attorney fees, inspector fee, realtor fee, property transfer tax, residency permits etc.  Cost will vary; however, we recommend a buffer of 10% of your home budget to cover various costs. 

How long will it take to complete a purchase?

There is no definitive time frame to purchase a property. Get started today ! 

Can I get a mortgage? 

In some cases there is an opportunity to get a mortgage for your international property. Ask us about it during your consultation.

Do I have to be present in Europe to complete my purchase?

Not necessarily , If needed an Aspro representative will assist in the "leg work" necessary to complete your purchase.   

Is Aspro available to travel to visit selected properties? 

Yes, the Aspro team can visit the home and do a video walk-throughs viewings for the client, if necessary.
